Hybrid strains have a combination of both Indica and Sativa highs which are relative to strain ratio.

The indica v. sativa dichotomy is possibly overstated; inasmuch as they are caused by different proportions of the same chemicals, the effects produced by the two species are more similar than not. Though this is not to suggest that different strains, and identical strains grown under different conditions, are not markedly diverse in everything from appearance to perceived effect. Many sativa purists refer to cannabis with any indica lineage whatsoever as “contaminated”. Indica connoisseurs might counter that they (the sativa purists) are just too sensitive, and that for themselves (the indica connoisseurs), sativa just doesn’t do the job. And so on and so forth.

Opinions are subjective, but purism rarely caters to progress. Factually, the two species are highly interbreedable, and crosses between the two have resulted in vastly improved available cannabises in the last couple decades. We encourage you to try a variety of strains to find “what you like”, but to resist false categorization, reactionary reductionism, and easy complacency.
